Jim Harvey spent twenty years in the military as a Navy Cryptologic Technician. He divided his time in service between the intelligence communities and Naval Special Warfare where he did combat tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Philippines with various special operations units. For the past six years, he worked as the Senior Enlisted Advisor over Future Concepts and Innovation at the headquarters of the US SEAL Teams. In this role, he coordinated with national laboratories, universities, and commercial industry to identify innovative and disruptive technologies. He also managed a portfolio with a value exceeding $400 million focused on autonomous robotics, artificial intelligence, and 5G telecommunications. Jim has an MA in National Security Studies and BS in Information Technology. He also speaks Korean and Japanese.
