Carolyn Saunders
Carolyn’s professional expertise lies in digital strategy, CRM and customer lifecycle marketing. A veteran of the cosmetics industry, she spent over 7 years at L’Oreal USA in various capacities, including roles at the corporate level where she was on the corporate strategic marketing team, spearheading digital strategy and transformation across all brands in the US portfolio, followed by a role on L’Oreal brand Urban Decay, where she owned the customer data strategy across all customer touchpoints, as well as led the CRM and SMS D2C channels and advised on social media audience campaign strategy. Carolyn earned a B.A. in Honors Journalism and French from New York University and lived and worked in New York City for 11 years before relocating to La Jolla in 2020.
