Mr. Haring is the co-founder and managing member of Byron Analytics, a data science consultancy firm focused on addressing impacts to marine ecosystems. From 2003-2022 he worked at the City of San Diego’s Environmental Monitoring and Technical Services Division as a marine biologist and then in environmental quality systems management and quality assurance. Mr. Haring has extensive knowledge of, or experience in climate resiliency, blue tech, scientific research, project and team management, client/customer relations, data analytics, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Haring earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of California, Irvine and an M.S. in Marine Biology from the California State University, Northridge.
